New Trailer and Clips for 'Jobs' Has Ashton Kutcher as an "American Legend"

There's a good reason why Hollywood is scurrying to get as many Steve Jobs biopics into theaters as fast as possible. More than just some guy who made cool gadgets and created Apple, Jobs was a mythic, Yoda-like figure within the tech industry, whose story is the embodiment of the American Dream. Everyone knows the stories of how he, Steve Wozniak, and a handful of others began Apple out of their garage. It's an incredible tale that goes beyond him just being the guy who had us lining up for miles to get the latest Ipod, and it's a story director Joshua Michael Stern and Ashton Kutcher hope to do justice in Jobs.

A new trailer presenting Steve Jobs as an "American Legend" has been released, along with four revealing clips. The film follows Jobs' life from his frustrations with the education system, to working out of his California garage, all the way to his building Apple into an industry leader with the invention of the Ipod. The big question is whether the guy from That '70s Show can capture Jobs' spirit and ingenuity.

Check out the footage below, and tune in to this week's episode of Cinema Royale for an interview with Joshua Michael Stern and co-star Josh Gad. Jobs hits theaters on August 16th. [Collider]
