First Poster for Pixar's 'The Good Dinosaur'

Pixar is still trying to iron out some story problems with The Good Dinosaur, and last we heard the film was getting moved from its May 2014 perch to November 2015. A brain trust of the studio's finest was brought in to replace director Bob Peterson and overhaul a story that posits what would happen if the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs misses the mark. Footage was shown at D23 and response to it was positive, in particular the visual risks being taken. How much of that footage will remain is anybody's guess, and with so much work left to be done it's a little surprising to see a new teaser poster emerge.

The image showcases Arlo (voiced by Lucas Neff), a dinosaur from an agrarian society who goes off on a personal quest and discovers one of the first humans, who he names Spot. Arlo and Spot come to realize they are both outcasts from their people, and it's their friendship that serves as the basis for the film. But again, it'll be interesting to see how much the story evolves over the next two years.

The Good Dinosaur stomps into theaters on November 25th 2015. [BleedingCool]
