Mick Taylor Returns In the First 'Wolf Creek 2' Trailer

When it comes to 2005's Aussie horror Wolf Creek, there doesn't seem to be much in the way of middle ground. You either love it for its sheer brutality and unrelenting terror, or you knock it for the very same reasons. I remember the late great Roger Ebert offering one of his most scathing reviews for it, but despite his harsh criticisms the film became a cult hit and veteran actor John Jarratt a star for portraying outback anti-hero and slayer of innocent vacationers, Mick Taylor.

Writer/director Greg McLean has brought Taylor back to make mincemeat of holiday backpackers in Wolf Creek 2, and the first trailer has arrived to show that not a lot has changed for him over the years. For obvious reasons, like some of them have been turned into "heads on a stick", none of the previous characters other than Taylor will be returning, and now he's got a whole new crop of "foreign vermin" to hunt.

Wolf Creek 2 opens in Australia on February 20th 2014, and hopefully will find its way here soon.
