Trailer for Thanksgiving Comedy 'Cold Turkey' Starring Alicia Witt and Peter Bogdanovich

Ahhh, Thanksgiving. It's a time for food, family, remembrances of those gone and appreciate for those who remain. But it's also a great time for old secrets and rivalries to be dredged up around the dinner table while others are trying to enjoy their dry turkey and soupy mashed potatoes. Movies like the indie comedy Cold Turkey are a dime-a-dozen, but that doesn't mean they can't still be a little bit of fun.

The trailer for writer/director Will Slocombe's Cold Turkey has been released, and no it doesn't share any relation with the 1971 Norman Lear film. Featuring an ensemble that includes Cheryl Hines, Peter Bodanovich, and the lovely Alicia Witt, it centers on the eccentric upper-class Turner clan who reunite over Thanksgiving only to have all their various lies and secrets ruin everything. Witt appears to be the stand out here as the streaky-haired black sheep of the family who seems to be angling to get some of daddy's money.

Cold Turkey rolls into Los Angeles on November 15th, followed by New York a week later.
