However this odd friendship between Bruce Willis and 50 Cent happened, it's led to some hilariously awful flicks already. The awful Fire with Fire and the even worse Set Up are the types of lazy, generic films that would kill the careers of anybody other than Willis, but they fit into his current "I like to earn lots of money" mentality. Now the rapper and John McClane are about to hook up once again, and they're going to have an awful lot of company.
Deadline reports that Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, John Cusack, Jason Patric, Gia Mantegna, Johnathon Schaech, and Rain (Ninja Assassin) have joined Willis in The Prince, an action-thriller (of course) directed by Brian A. Miller. Hte film centers on "a retired Las Vegas mob enforcer (Patric) who is forced to return to the city and face his former enemies when his teenage daughter goes missing." Willis previously signed on to play Omar, a man who has been waiting years for a shot at revenge. Cusack will play Patric's best friend while Schaech is a drug dealer nicknamed "The Pharmacist".
Filming begins next week and this will probably be in the Wal-Mart DVD bin a few days later.
