Benji is Back: Simon Pegg Confirms His Return for 'Mission: Impossible 5'

We don't know much about what secret mission will be at the heart of Mission: Impossible 5, and if we did know someone would probably have to kill us. However we can count on Tom Cruise reprising his role as IMF agent Ethan Hunt, and that he'll be joined by his Jack Reacher director Christopher McQuarrie when the film opens on Christmas Day 2015. Now as the rest of the cast is beginning to assemble, Simon Pegg has confirmed he'll be back as nerdy tech wiz, Benji Dunn.

While talking to MTV, Pegg took the road less traveled by many actors and gave an honest answer when asked directly if he'd return for Mission: Impossible 5....

Pegg: "Yes, absolutely. I'm looking forward to that. I've already started eating one carrot a day in order to be in shape."

Proper nerd shape demands he be thin as a rail for the part, but the eating of one carrot is probably an exaggeration. Probably. Nobody wants him arriving on set with an orange hue.  Dunn has been one of the most popular characters in the franchise since debuting in J.J. Abrams' Mission: Impossible III, and it's good to know he'll be back with more clever gadgets.
