The Secret Life of Walter Mitty does seem to be riding a wave of popular support, even if its critical prospects have diminished somewhat. The feel-good film has Stiller in the title role as an inconsequential LIFE Magazine employee who escapes his boring life with the help of a vivid imagination. When presented with the opportunity to win the heart of the woman he loves, played by Kristen Wiig, he embarks on an epic globe-hopping adventure.
Part of that adventure involves fighting sharks, jumping from airplanes, and biking up a volcano according to this new clip. A new trailer and poster asking us to "Stop Dreaming and Start Living" have also been released. Is it real or Memorex? We'll find out when
