New Trailer for 'The Lego Movie' Featuring Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, and Liam Neeson

We've seen plenty of movies based on toys; G.I. Joe and Transformers probably being the biggest and most successful of the bunch at taking full advantage of the brand. Hollywood recognized long ago that movies drive toy sales and vice versa, but none have been doing it better or for longer than Lego. Sure, most of those have been straight-to-DVD flicks with varying levels of quality but they have a fanbase as large as the building block toys. And now those loyal fans are finally going to get epic, imaginative big screen film they've been waiting for in The Lego Movie, and boy does it look awesome.

Directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller (21 Jump Street, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs), the film centers on Emmett (Chris Pratt), a regular everyday Lego who is mistaken for a Master Builder and is thrust into a quest to stop the evil President Business, voiced hilariously (and perfectly) by Will Ferrell. Emmett's quest will have him meeting tons of popular characters (Superman! Batman!) and visiting all sorts of strange new worlds that will probably be available for sale at your local Wal-Mart very soon. Let's be honest here; the point of a movie like this is selling toys but it does look like Warner Bros. has put some genuine thought, creativity, and talent behind it.

Featuring the voices of Elizabeth Banks,Will Arnett, Alison Brie, Liam Neeson, Channing Tatum, Cobie Smulders, Morgan Freeman and many more, The Lego Movie opens on February 7th 2014.
