Recently a triptych-style poster was released, and in it we could see what looks to be the Goblin ready to launch an attack against poor overwhelmed Spidey. A Twitter user took a close-up shot of the image and the Goblin seems to be an altered version of DeHaan, not Cooper. This would mean a pretty significant change from the comics, in which Harry only becomes the Goblin after his father is presumed dead.
There's also evidence that Cooper may not even be in the film any longer. Sony Pictures has released a brand new plot synopsis and cast list, which according to Comingsoon leaves off Cooper and confirms Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Paul Giamatti, Jamie Foxx, Sally Field, Colm Feore, Embeth Davidtz, and Campbell Scott. Does this mean Felicity Jones and B.J. Novak are gone, as well? Does this mean Marc Webb has decided to hit the brakes on Norman Osborn just as he did with Mary Jane Watson? My guess is this is just an abbreviated cast list and we'll see these actors involved in some capacity.
