'The Punk Singer' Advance Screening

The "riot girl" punk rock movement of the 1990s found its powerful voice in Kathleen Hannah, the outspoken lead singer of Bikini Kill and Le Tigre. When the former stripper-turned-feminist activist stopped shouting in 2005, many wondered what forces could keep someone like her quiet. Hannah's story is chronicled in The Punk Singer, and we want you to check it out by attending a free advance screening.

The event takes place on Wednesday December 11th at Landmark E Street at 7:30pm.
