IMAX Releases Stylish Illustrated 'Divergent' Poster

While many may knock IMAX for their franchising efforts, they've been doing some bang-up work with the Fanfix poster series, providing some of the most colorful and creative one-sheets around. Last year they treated us to gorgeous posters for Pacific Rim and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and now they show us the view from a Dauntless perspective in this new poster for Divergent.

Award-winning artist Victo Ngai provides this gorgeous image of Tris (Shailene Woodley) and Four (Theo James) doing what the Dauntless faction does, living free and risking everything.

“I wanted to capture the scene of Tris and Four jumping off a moving train," Ngai says, "as it not only represents the courage required to become a Dauntless, it also symbolized the leap from their old faction and life, a decision they cannot go back on.”

The poster will be available to fans attending the first IMAX screenings of Divergent on March 20th. The film hits theaters on March 21st, directed by Neil Burger.
