Red Band Trailer for Marlon Wayans' 'A Haunted House 2'

Before you ask the obvious question, "Does A Haunted House 2 really need to be a thing?", just consider the $2M A Haunted House, which Marlon Wayans mostly scrounged up the cash for himself, earned nearly $60M worldwide last year. Those are numbers any studio is going to be happy about, and so a sequel to the Scary Movie rival was quickly ordered up with a new red band trailer released.

Wayans is back to star, co-write and produce the horror comedy which spoofs some (slightly) newer movies this time around.  But really this is just a showcase for Wayans to do more screaming. This time around he's moved on from his possessed girlfriend (Essence Atkins) and shacked up with a white chick (Jaime Pressly), so let the crude interracial humor fly! Cedric the Entertainer returns because....well, what else is he going to do in-between hosting game shows and stuff? Basically this looks like it was made for those who laughed their asses off at the first movie, and nobody else should bother. The whole Facebook timeline thing, too? Nah, it's already dated.

A Haunted House 2 opens April 18th.
