Affleck plays a man suspected in the disappearance of his wife (Rosamund Pike) on their fifth wedding anniversary. It's hard to get a feel for the tone thanks to all of ET's obnoxious chatter, but the look is pure Fincher. Fans of the novel will probably be keeping an eye out for any indication of story changes Flynn helped come up with.
Also starring Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry (!!!), Kim Dickens, and Patrick Fugit, Gone Girl opens October 3rd.
