Black Dynamite and Lil Romeo are about to get their twerk on in Chocolate City, a male stripper film for those unimpressed with Channing Tatum's abs in Magic Mike. Michael Jai White and Romeo Miller will be joined by Tyson Beckford in the indie film helmed by Jean-Claude LaMarre that will take an urban look at that world which is suddenly very popular around Hollywood.
Penned by LaMarre, the film centers on Devin (Miller), a college student struggling to pay tuition who is convinced to give Amateur Night at the local strip club a shot, becoming a favorite of the ladies and earning the ire of Adrian (Beckford), who used to be the club's biggest attraction. White, who can also be seen in episodes of Arrow as the Bronze Tiger, will play the club owner and the one giving Devin his big break.
Sounds a little bit like a male version of Ice Cube's directorial debut, The Players Club. Filming on Chocolate City begins next month.
