The producers at Blumhouse Productions know a good thing when they see it, which is why they continue to build massive horror hits on the tiniest of budgets. And part of that is working with the same stars, looking at you Ethan Hawke, that have helped them in the past. With young actress Stefanie Scott already set for a role to play Kimber in Blumhouse's Jem and the Holograms movie, she has now been cast in their upcoming Insidious: Chapter 3.
Scott will take on a leading role in the film written and directed by Leigh Whannell, taking over for his frequent collaborator, James Wan. Plot details remain under wraps but Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne are not expected to return, meaning the story will likely center on a different family terrorized by the supernatural.
