Simon Pegg May Have a Role in 'Star Wars: Episode VII'

Rumors of Simon Pegg rejoining his Mission: Impossible III and Star Trek director J.J. Abrams for Star Wars: Episode VII have been going around literally for months, until the actor himself finally decided to make a cheeky denial, saying....

"No idea where this silly rumour about me attached to the new 'Star Wars' film came from but I can confirm that it's absolute Bantha poodoo"

Bantha poodoo or not, the talk has continued and now IGN Middle East is getting involved by reporting Pegg "was present on set to shoot scenes in Abu Dhabi" for a mystery role in the film. It could be for a cameo or something more substantial, but given his friendship with Abrams and unabashed adoration of the Star Wars universe, it's seeming more likely that Pegg will be involved somehow.
