I'm a sucker for kid's movies. Always have been. I'll just start this intro by saying I find it completely refreshing when I see a kids movie nowadays that has...well...kid's jokes in it. I can appreciate the smarter humor aimed at the adults in the new style but sometimes I just want to see something silly. The Penguins of Madagascar does just that. I'd be lying if I didn't say I giggled through the entire thing.
Also, movie trailer makers of the world, if you want me to immediately go all in on your movie all you need to do is work in a nice use of Kenny Loggins' Danger Zone. Just sayin'
