Anyone who saw Tom Hardy's solo performance in Locke knows he can be a dominating force of nature. And it's that undeniable presence that has filmmakers keeping his schedule jammed with upcoming projects, so it's fortunate for writer/director Brian Helgeland (LA Confidential) that he'll get twice the Hardy for the price of one in his new mobster film, Legend.
Hardy will play real-life gangsters and twin brothers Ronnie and Reggie Kray in Legend, with the first image arriving as production officially gets underway. The Krays ran the infamous East London gang awesomely known as The Firm throughout the 1960s while rubbing elbows with politicians and celebrities through their nightclub.
More Tom Hardy is always a good thing but it would still be nice to know the rest of the cast. Hopefully with filming underway we'll start to learn more.
