Outside of the footage teased at Comic-Con nothing has been seen of Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, except for a few character posters and lousy set photos. Do you really need to see a photo of grey-haired Ben Affleck standing around dressed like a civilian? If so, there are other sites you can go to for that. But because we've seen so little most of the updates we get come straight from the rumor mill, and that's what BadAss Digest is serving up today.
One of the bits of info we received on the film right at the time Affleck was brought on, was that his version of Batman would be a grizzled crime-fighting veteran, but now the story goes that he has been operating for close to three decades. Considered an urban legend, Batman has never been seen or had his picture taken. But that doesn't mean he hasn't been busy, and his Batcave is said to have a memorial consisting of a tattered Robin costume. The mere suggestion that Robin has existed in Batman's world is good reason to expect the Boy Wonder, or perhaps Nightwing, will appear somewhere down the line. Maybe not in this movie but later on. Also, Wonder Woman is said to have been doing her thing for awhile in "unexpected" ways, but managing to keep a low profile. This seems to tie in to earlier reports the first time we see her she's posing as Diane Prince.
Anyway, let the speculation continue about how any of this could lead up to Justice League. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens May 6th 2016.
