This fall you'll be spending a couple of hours crammed into a tight spot with Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Jon Bernthal, Michael Pena, and Logan Lerman. While that may sound like a party worth attending unfortunately it will be inside of tank...during WWII....behind enemy lines. That's the idea behind Fury, the war drama from David Ayer (End of Watch) that some are pegging as a sure-fire Oscar contender and possibly Pitt's first shot at winning some gold.
A new trailer for Fury thrusts us into the armored Sherman tank called "Fury", led by battle-hardened Sgt. Wardaddy. With his five-man team Wardaddy must embark on their most dangerous mission yet deep into Nazi territory and wipe out the enemy for good if they want to return home. There doesn't seem to be any shortage of action but clearly this is designed as a wartime drama about the hardships endured and caused by troops on the battlefield.
Fury hits theaters on October 17th.
