New Trailer for Thriller 'The Guest' Starring Dan Stevens
This may come as a shock but not everybody watches Downton Abbey. So the emergence of the handsome and dashing Dan Stevens as a leading man may seem a bit sudden, but it's a role he's taken to pretty well. But those good looks can hide a darker side, and that's what we get a chance to see in the new trailer for The Guest.
A breakout film at Sundance for You're Next director Adam Wingard, the psycho-thriller follows a family who allow a man into their home after he claims to be a friend of their dead son, a soldier killed in war. Of course nothing is at it seems and soon the bodies start piling up. This looks like a gritty and violent throwback, not unlike another Sundance favorite, Cold in July.
Also starring Maika Monroe (At Any Price), Lance Reddick, Brendan Meyer, Leland Orser, and Sheila Kelley, The Guest enters theaters on September 7th.
