Good news for fans of Marvel's merry mutants, the X-men. Earlier this year a director's cut Blu-Ray release of X-men: Days of Future Past was teased for later this year by producer Lauren Schuler Donner. Well now it has been confirmed by 20th Century Fox's EVP of marketing communications, James Finn, but it won't be arriving until 2015.

The fan who tweeted the question asked specifically about the deleted scenes involving Anna Paquin's Rogue, and it looks like those will be put back in for this extended version. Her part had been much bigger and more elaborate than the brief cameo she had in the theatrical cut, and it reportedly had her being rescued by Iceman, Professor X, and Magneto. Bryan Singer commented he felt the scene was extraneous and a drag on momentum, and given the vast number of characters already in the film he was probably right.
The timing of this announcement is curious, though, because the regular version of X-men: Days of Future Past will be available digitally on September 23rd, followed by a Blu-Ray release on October 14th. So you might as well just wait a few months to get all of the extra goodies.
