Remember some time back when a rumor surfaced that
Zack Snyder would be directing a Seven Samurai-influenced Star Wars film? Those
stories were quickly shot down, by Snyder's camp anyway, but lately he's been doing everything possible to get them started again. Over the last few days Snyder has been tweeting photos merging the worlds of Star Wars and the DC Universe. One features Henry Cavill as Superman wielding a lightsaber, the other one with Batman (is that Bat-fleck?) trekking alongside R2-D2. What's up with all this, anyway?
No, seriously, what's going on? Is he trying to tell us something? Or is he just having some fun? My guess is the latter, since he'll be so busy with Warner Bros. stuff for awhile. But if
Gareth Edwards can juggle Godzilla and a Star Wars spinoff why can't Snyder handle two projects of similar scope?
