New Clip from Disney Animation's (Not Marvel's) 'Big Hero 6'

The last few days nearly all of the attention on Big Hero 6 has focused on what Marvel ISN'T doing for the film. The comics publisher isn't putting forth their usual effort in promoting the animated action movie, their first collaboration with Walt Disney Animation. Typically when a Marvel superhero movie comes out there will be tons of comics and promos (such as a new Rocket Raccoon comic ahead of Guardians of the Galaxy), but that's not happening this time and it has to do with the two studios basically agreeing that the Big Hero 6 depicted in the film is not the same as their printed counterparts. Say what? Here's what Marvel editor Axel Alonso said when asked about it...

Alonso: "The characters and stories that have appeared in our comics are very different from what they are in the film. Releasing material that would be viewed as movie tie-in product would be a disservice to filmgoers. We wanted the Disney folks to be able to create their own unique style and story, unencumbered by those older stories."

Whatever, man. Same team, same name, same characters with a few minor alterations. But if you've noticed, Marvel has been left out of marketing for the family-friendly superhero movie. In other words, don't expect there to be any crossover between the Big Hero 6 kids and your favorite Avengers any time soon. And if this is the route Disney has chosen to take they picked the perfect characters to do it with because nobody has heard of them, anyway. Regardless, the movie is still coming to theaters on November 7th and now here is a brand new 2-minute clip.
