First Clip from Christopher Nolan's 'Interstellar' with Matthew McConaughey

The secret is out. Early reviews for Christopher Nolan's Interstellar have arrived and whether you're trying to avoid them (like me) or not, chances are you already have heard the mixed response. So maybe the heady, ambitious sci-fi film isn't the groundbreaker it has been built up to be? Whatever the case, those who are still eagerly looking forward to it may want to hold on to the mystery a little bit longer, but for those who don't here's the first Interstellar clip.

This scene takes place before things head out into deep space, and it shows just how deeply the world has turned against the idea of space travel. It's gotten to the point where schools teach students that the moon landing was faked, an idea which pisses off Matthew McConaughey's character, an engineer who knows the real value of space exploration. Something tells me the rest of the world will be on the same page with him soon.

The scene also includes David Oyelowo, part of a great cast that includes Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine, Casey Affleck, Mackenzie Foy, Topher Grace, Bill Irwin, John Lithgow, Josh Stewart, Ellen Burstyn, and Matt Damon. Interstellar opens November 7th.
