First Look at Dave Bautista as Bond Villain Mr. Hinx in 'Spectre'
Dave Bautista was known as "the Animal" during his time in the WWE, and the name fit. He was a monster who destroyed his opponents inside the ring. But outside of it he dressed in fine suits, had a laid back demeanor, and flashed a sense of style. It actually made him more terrifying. It seems Sam Mendes is going to tap into that with Bautista's role as Bond villain Mr. Hinx in Spectre.
The first look at Bautista as Mr. Hinx was revealed by Empire, who also got him to talk about his decision to take on the role...
"When I came over to meet Sam [Mendes], I only asked two questions. "I asked him if Mr. Hinx was a badass. He said, 'Yes, he's a badass.' I said, 'Well, is Mr. Hinx intelligent?' He said, 'Very.' That's what I like about Mr. Hinx. He's very well-dressed and very well-mannered. I'm not just here to fight people. He has a sense of humour. He definitely knows what a metaphor is."
Also part of the cast if Blue is the Warmest Color star, Lea Seydoux, who plays Bond girl Dr. Madeleine Swann. Although Seydoux is reluctant to include herself in the lengthy list of "Bond girls"...
"I don't consider myself a Bond girl. I think I'm not really the stereotyped Bond girl. I feel quite different. You can't be like, 'Oh, James.' You have to find something else. She's not a fighter, she's a doctor. She fights in another way."
You can check out a new glimpse of Seydoux below, followed by Empire's special covers featuring Daniel Craig as 007. Spectre hits theaters on November 6th.
