At the beginning of the brand new trailer for Furious 7, Jason Statham's Ian Shaw character warns Vin Diesel's Dominic Torretto, "You don't know me, but you're about to", just before blowing his home to smithereens. The same could pretty much be said of the entire Fast & Furious franchise as a whole. If you don't know what it's all about by now, this trailer is a good primer on the explosive, high-octane, cars-leaping-through-skyscapers action you're in store for.
The gang is back and this time they're the ones being hunted. After the fiery conclusion to Fast & Furious 6, they must contend with Shaw who is looking to avenge his younger brother's death. And apparently he's enough of a bad ass to withstand a Rock Bottom through a table (!!!) and still put Dwayne Johnson's character in the hospital. Somehow this manages to expand on the insanity of the Super Bowl spot, which is no small feat.
Directed by James Wan, Furious 7 opens on April 3rd.
