'Neighbors 2' is Happening with Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, and Rose Byrne Returning

It was only a matter of time before this happened. The Seth Rogen vs. Zac Efron comedy Neighbors might not have been to everybody's liking, but it's generally considered one of 2014's funniest films and a box office hit with $268M. So here we are in 2015 and Universal Pictures has gone ahead and green lit a sequel with everybody who made the first film a success coming back for more.

Rogen, Efron, and the funniest lady in Hollywood (in my opinion) Rose Byrne are back for Neighbors 2, which will hit theaters on May 13th 2016. If that date sounds familiar it's because Universal had an "untitled R-rated comedy" set for that spot and now we know what that is. Nicholas Stoller will also be returning to direct, and while plot details are slim it appears Rogen and Efron will be on the same side this time taking on a rambunctious sorority. Can't wait to see who they get to fill those roles.

Filming on Neighbors 2 begins this summer.
