The suddenly very busy Will Poulter (The Maze Runner) has joined Elle Fanning in Brain on Fire, based on Susannah Calahan's memoir. Poulter will be reteaming with his Glassland director, Garard Barrett, for the story of 24-year-old Calahan's month long descent into madness at a hospital as a result of an undiagnosed case of encephalitis. Charlize Theron is on board as a producer.
Fresh off the controversial The Interview, Lizzy Caplan is going small for the indie comedy, Friend of Bill. She'll headline the film, penned by Harper Dill, which centers on an alcoholic NYC magazine editor who returns to her childhood home to get sober after she is fired. Caplan will be seen next in the sequel to Now You See Me.
