This year we'll see Dwayne Johnson take on Jason Statham in Furious 7, followed a month later by battling an earthquake in the action flick, San Andreas. Honestly, he may have a tougher time against Statham if this latest trailer for San Andreas is any indication. The film reunites Johnson with Journey 2: The Mysterious Island director Brad Peyton, and it looks like a large scale Roland Emmerich-style disaster movie. Been awhile since we had one of those that wasn't on SyFy.

After the infamous San Andreas Fault finally gives, triggering a magnitude 9 earthquake in California, a search and rescue helicopter pilot (Johnson) and his estranged (Carla Gugino) wife make their way together from Los Angeles to San Francisco to save their only daughter (Alexandra Daddario). But their treacherous journey north is only the beginning. And when they think the worst may be over… it’s just getting started.
