Despite a cast led by two staunch Marvel-ites in Mark Ruffalo and Zoe Saldana, there wasn't a lot of buzz surrounding Infinitely Polar Bear. The film debuted at last year's Sundance and reviews weren't kind to the family dramedy which takes a light-hearted look at manic depression. Gee, can't see where that might go wrong. The first trailer was released just last month but now another has been released with a slightly deeper look at the story's plot.
Ruffalo plays a manic-depressive father trying to raise his two precocious daughters on his own after his wife leaves him. Caring for the girls while trying to win back his wife's love proves to be too much, but rather than hulking out he just endures all kinds of comic mishaps.
Maya Forbes, writer of The Rocker and HBO's The Larry Sanders Show, makes her directorial debut. Infinitely Polar Bear opens June 19th. Check out the trailer plus a couple of clips below.
