How long before Adam West lands a role in Gotham? Just as CW's The Flash cast the Flash from the '90s TV show, John Wesley Shipp, CBS' upcoming Supergirl series is looking to the past to fill two mystery roles.
Dean Cain and Helen Slater have joined the Supergirl series from Arrow and The Flash creator, Greg Berlani. Cain played Superman in Lois & Clark: The Further Adventures of Superman, while Slater is best known for donning the red & blue tights in the 1984 Supergirl movie. Who will they be playing? Who knows? Their parts are currently being kept a mystery, but would anybody be shocked if they were playing members of the Zor-El family? Maybe this Supergirl will venture out in the multiverse and meet alternate versions of popular superheroes?
They join star Melissa Benoist, Mehcad Brooks, Calista Flockhart, Laura Benanati, Chyler Leigh, and David Henshaw.
