It's that time of year again. Time for Woody Allen to drop his annual romantic comedy featuring an A-list cast set in some gorgeous locale. This time around it's Emma Stone and Joaquin Phoenix in Irrational Man, and the first image from the secretive film has dropped.
Typical for Allen we know practically nothing about the plot, although it's said to star Phoenix as a university professor who has some kind of relationship with a student played by Stone. Parker Posey and Jamie Blackley co-star, but let's be honest we're showing up to see Phoenix and Stone together for the first time. Hopefully it works out better than the nonexistent chemistry Stone had with Colin Firth in Magic in the Moonlight.
