After a whole host of problems, including very nearly not getting completed at all due to script leaks, Quentin Tarantino's latest Western, The Hateful Eight, arrives later this year. Today he's dropped the first teaser for the star-studded film, but those expecting some actual footage will have to wait awhile longer. Why? Because this is the same tease that ran months ago before filming had begun and is only just going online now.
The teaser features no scenes from the movie that we can tell and is really just an animated credits sequence running down the colorfully-named characters like Joe Gage "The Cow Puncher". The film stars Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Madsen, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Demian Bichir, Tim Roth, Zoe Bell, Bruce Dern, and Channing Tatum in a mystery role.
The Hateful Eight opens on Christmas Day.
