That weird Kevin Spacey film Nine Lives, the one where he plays a workaholic father magically transformed into the family cat, has added Jennifer Garner and The Flash's Robbie Amell to the cast. Christopher Walken co-stars in the comedy directed by Barry Sonnenfeld. Garner can be seen in theaters now in Danny Collins opposite Al Pacino, while Amell recently starred in The DUFF. [Variety]
Roland Emmerich has revealed that Joey King (The Dark Knight Rises) and Brent Spiner (Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation) have joined Independence Day 2. They'll co-star alongside Jeff Goldblum, Liam Hemsworth, Jessie Usher, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Vivica A. Fox, Travis Tope, and Bill Pullman in the sequel to the 1996 alien invasion flick. This will be a return for Spiner a he played the eccentric Dr. Brackish Okun in the original. Independence Day 2 arrives on June 24th 2016.
