Matt Murdock Owns the Night in Two Trailers for Marvel's 'Daredevil' Series
Unlike Marvel's other age-appropriate superheroes, Daredevil has always been in the morally gray category. Sure he's a lawyer who stands for justice during the day, but at night Daredevil's crime fighting tactics could skewed towards vigilantism, and his definition of "justice" often meant some people would wind up in the hospital...or the morgue. That darker tone appears to have been brought over faithfully to Marvel's upcoming Daredevil series on Netflix, and now they've delivered two more trailers to prove it.
Charlie Cox stars as blind lawyer/hero Matt Murdock aka Daredevil, with Elden Henson as his pal Foggy Nelson, Rosario Dawson as "Night Nurse" Claire Temple, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Scott Glenn as Stick, and Vincent D'Onofrio as Kingpin. Steven S. DeKnight (Starz' Spartacus series) is the showrunner and if Marvel was looking for the right guy to give Daredevil that darker edge, it's him. All 13 episodes will be available on Netflix on April 10th.
