Vin Diesel was on Jimmy Kimmel Live and teased that the next film will take place in New York City, and will heavily involve Kurt Russell's character. Meanwhile, Latino Review says it could also mark the return of Eva Mendes' Monica Fuentes character from 2 Fast 2 Furious. She hasn't been seen since the post-credits scene in Fast Five.
