'Captain America: Civil War' Brings Back Emily VanCamp's Agent 13

Forget calling it "Avengers 2.5", Captain America: Civil War is basically a full-on Avengers movie. Not only does it pick up where Avengers: Age of Ultron left off with Iron Man and Captain America having a huge ideological split, but Chris Evans says it sets up 2018's Avengers: Infinity War. Oh, and practically every Avenger is going to be in it, along with the debuts of Spider-Man and Black Panther. Now we know to expect Emily VanCamp's Agent 13 to return, as well.

Sharon Carter aka Agent 13 was introduced in Captain America: The Winter Soldier as a SHIELD agent and possible love interest for Cap. In the comics she's related to Cap's former flame, Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell), but that wasn't really dealt with in the film. There's always the chance they change Agent 13's backstory to avoid any confusion.

VanCamp joins Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Sebastian Stan, Elizabeth Olsen, Chadwick Boseman, Daniel Bruhl, Frank Grillo, and the newly-added Martin Freeman with the Russo Brothers directing. Captain America: Civil War arrives on May 6th 2016. [Deadline]
