Chris Evans Says 'Captain America: Civil War' Connects to 'Infinity War'

With $630M already in the bank, Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron is exactly the juggernaut many expected it to be, even if it doesn't quite hit the heights of The Avengers. Again, it looks like Ant-Man is being passed over in the minds of many who are skipping straight to Captain America: Civil War as the next major piece in the Marvel puzzle. MTV caught up with Chris Evans and asked him about 'Civil War' and how it connects to the big two-part blowout, Avengers: Infinity War....

Evans: “It’s to jump off into the next Avengers, Infinity War. So Cap 3 is going to be the set-up of the real battle, so there are a lot of people.”

Both movies will be directed by the Russo Brothers so they also have that in common. With many of the Avengers gone or missing by the time Infinity War begins in 2018, 'Civil War' will see the introductions of Black Panther and Spider-Man. That's along with Iron Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch. And who knows? Maybe there will be more?  Captain America: Civil War opens May 16th 2016.
