First Trailer for 'Absolutely Anything' Starring Simon Pegg, Monty Python, and Robin Williams
Monty Python has been reunited! Recently they gathered in person to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and now their fans have an all new film featuring the legendary comedy troupe. Well, it features their voices, anyway. They'll be heard in the new comedy, Absolutely Anything, which stars Simon Pegg and is the final performance by the late Robin Williams.
The first trailer has now been released and it looks pretty goofy, which should be perfect for Pegg. Directed by Terry Jones and co-starring Kate Beckinsale, Rob Riggle, and Eddie Izzard, the film follows a schoolteacher granted the power to do absolutely anything by a bunch of aliens (voiced by Monty Python) who have been watching our planet. So what does he choose to do with it? Make his life easier in the dumbest ways possible, including giving his dog the ability to talk, with Williams voicing the chatty pup.
Absolutely Anything doesn't have a U.S. date yet but hits the U.K. on August 14th.
