Not even retirement can slow down legendary detective Sherlock Holmes. This summer, Ian McKellen plays the unstoppable sleuth in Mr. Holmes, which finds him taking on a case that has haunted him.
Directed by Bill Condon and co-starring Laura Linney, Hiroyuki Sanada, Milo Parker, and Colin Starkey as John Watson, the film finds a retired Holmes re-opening the case that ended his career, while also dealing with his deteriorating mental abilities. Solving crimes sure beats beekeeping as a means of staying active.
Mr. Holmes hits theaters on July 17th.
