Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool famously debuted in the awful X-Men Origins: Wolverine, a film that saw the Merc with a Mouth get his pie hole literally sewn shut. It was, perhaps, the worst introduction of a comic book character ever, and the sad thing is it began with so much potential. We know that the screenplay for the upcoming Deadpool film pokes some fun at his dubious beginning, but is there a chance that Hugh Jackman could actually show up as Wolverine? Ryan Reynolds sure hopes so. He tells News.com.au...
"God I hope so, that would be really nice. I dunno, we’ll see. It seems like he’s open to it, but it’s gonna be more of a scheduling issue than anything else."
Jackman has already confirmed he'll only play Logan one more time and that's in The Wolverine 3, so right now it's not likely we'll see him in Deadpool or X-Men: Apocalypse for that matter. But what if he shows up as just himself? There may be more jokes to be told if he appears as Hugh Jackman. Deadpool opens next year on February 12th.
