Task Force X Assembles in First Look at the 'Suicide Squad' Cast in Full Costume

With reports of Warner Bros. chaotic approach to building their DC Comics movie-verse now circulating, is it possible they're looking to get some good press building again? Maybe, maybe not, because David Ayer has been more than forthcoming with photos from the set of Suicide Squad, whether it's Will Smith's Deadshot in cowboy gear or Jared Leto's tattooed freakazoid Joker. Now Ayer has just decided to blow the lid off of everything with the first photo of the enter team in costume.

The image give us our first look at Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Smith in a more proper Deadshot costume but still lacking the eyepiece, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje looking quite scaly as Killer Croc, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Adam Beach as Slipknot, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, and Jay Hernandez as El Diablo.

So are they all going to be members of the squad aka Task Force X? It sure sounds that way with Ayer captioning "Task Force X assembled and ready. #SuicideSquad". No wonder Tom Hardy left when it became obvious he wouldn't be the star, but with a cast this size nobody is going to get major time. There are still a few who aren't in the image like Leto, Scott Eastwood, and Viola Davis who plays the team's handler Amanda "The Wall" Waller. There's still the chance we see Ben Affleck and Jesse Eisenberg cameo as Batman and Lex Luthor, too.

Suicide Squad hits theaters on August 5th 2016.
