Chloe Moretz Replaces Dakota Fanning in 'Brain on Fire'

It looks as if Dakota Fanning's decision to replace Mia Wasikowska in Brimstone has forced a move to be made on another film she was attached to. Due to scheduling conflicts Fanning has been replaced by Chloe Moretz as the lead in the psychological drama, Brain on Fire.

Based on  Susannah Cahalan's memoir and produced by Charlize Theron with Gerard Barrett (Glassland) directing, the story follows a young woman's month-long descent into madness at a hospital due to an undiagnosed case of encephalitis.

The film will also star Thomas Mann (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl) and Will Poulter (We're the Millers), making for a strong young cast with a promising filmmaker. [THR]
