There's a serious vacuum of notable programming for San Diego Comic-Con's Hall H venue this year, with Paramount, Marvel, and Sony deciding to skip out. That's left an opening for others to try and fill the void, like Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, The Hunger Games, and Lucasfilm with Star Wars: The Force Awakens. But now the jam-packed hall is about to get a serious injection of star power as Quentin Tarantino will bring his anticipated film The Hateful Eight to Comic-Con.
Variety brings the news, saying Tarantino and the cast of the Western will be on hand, and he'll be bringing exclusive footage to show the eager audience. So there's a reason to hop in line early for Hall H if ever there was one. The panel will take place on Saturday, July 11th at 1:30pm and naturally it will be moderated by Chris Hardwicke because he does damn near everything whether we want him to or not. Expect Tarantino to wax poetic about the beauty of 70mm, and fill us in on the two-week traveling road show he plans to take the film on.
The Hateful Eight opens Christmas Day.
