The summer blockbuster season is in full swing and already it's shaping up to be one of the biggest yet. With Jurassic World smashing records on an Avatar-level and Marvel's Ant-Man still on the way, it may be easy to forget that Tom Cruise is still set to make a dent in the box office with Mission: Impossible- Rogue Nation, and another explosive trailer is here.
Directed by Cruise's pal Christopher McQuarrie, the film has the IMF disbanded and agent Ethan Hunt (Cruise) investigating a secret terrorist organization known as "The Syndicate". Somewhere along the way this franchise became defined by the crazy stunts Cruise is willing to pull off, and this one has him hanging on to the side of a soaring jet plane. Notice an increased emphasis on Jeremy Renner's character, also, which is interesting as rumors continue to swirl that he'll be the focus of the franchise moving forward.
Also starring Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner, Ving Rhames, Alec Baldwin, and Rebecca Ferguson, Mission: Impossible- Rogue Nation opens July 31st.
