If there's one thing the Bourne movies have plenty of, it's a bunch of really authoritative characters used to ordering people around and getting their way. Just so happens that Tommy Lee Jones is pretty good in exactly that kind of role, and so it's no surprise he's been recruited to join the cast of the fifth Bourne movie.
Jones will join the returning Matt Damon, Julia Stiles, and director Paul Greengrass in the adult-geared spy flick, which also will feature a role for Alicia Vikander. As for who Jones will be, that's still unclear but the speculation is that he'll be someone in the CIA, which isn't much of a shock. Isn't everybody in these films part of the CIA?
Bourne 5 will open on July 29th 2016, with filming set to begin soon. [Variety]
