Michael Sheen Joins 'Passengers'; Parker Posey Rejoins Woody Allen for Next Film

After a long development delay, the sci-fi romance Passengers is finally moving forward with Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt as the high-priced leads. And now the supporting cast is coming together with the addition of Michael Sheen as the voice of a robot that will interact with the main characters. Directed by Morten Tyldum (The Imitation Game) and penned by Jon Spaihts (Prometheus), the futuristic film takes place on a starship headed to a distant planet. Of the thousands of passengers on board in cryogenic sleep, one wakes up 90 years too early and faced with the prospect of dying all alone, decides to wake up a beautiful passenger to grow old with. Parker Posey, who recently revealed she nearly retired from acting before landing a lead role in Woody Allen's Irrational Man, is set to rejoin the legendary director for his next film. While still untitled, the project will star Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart, Bruce Willis, and Blake Lively. As usual, there are still no plot details but we can expect to see the film next summer.
