It's been a fairly quiet 2015 for Chloe Moretz, with her only brand new film the Gillian Flynn adaptation Dark Places opposite Charlize Theron. Next year is shaping up to be much busier with her first potential YA blockbuster in The 5th Wave, the crime drama November Criminals, and the real-life psychological drama Brain on Fire. But she'll also have time to terrorize Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, and Rose Byrne in the sequel to last year's comedy smash, Neighbors.
Moretz took to Twitter and revealed she has joined Neighbors 2, which will bring back the original cast and director Nicholas Stoller.
Excited to announce I'll be apart of #Neighbors with @Sethrogen - Buckle up people ...it's the girls' time to take over.. ;)

Moretz is more than familiar with R-rated comedy, having played Hit-Girl in both Kick-Ass comic book movies. There's no indication of what her character will be, but it wouldn't be surprising if she were part of a raucous sorority making Rogen and Byrne's lives miserable.
Neighbors 2 opens next year on May 13th.
