Earlier this year Will Ferrell did something no Major League Baseball player has ever done. He went down to Arizona during spring training and suited up for 10 different MLB squads, playing 10 different positions all in the span of a single day. It was pretty crazy, and naturally the whole thing went viral as well it should.
HBO has taken footage from Ferrell's stunt and made a special out of it, and a new trailer for Ferrell Takes the Field has debuted. Done as a means of helping out the Cancer for College charity, Ferrell was also paying a kind of tribute to pro ball player Bert “Campy” Campaneris who once played all nine positions for Kansas City in 1965.
Ferrell Takes the Field airs on Sept. 12th.
